I can't speak to him as a selling agent but I've learned that, in this market, being acknowledged by the selling agent is extremely rare since there are often offers in the double digits. You think they have time to call you all back?! No. It's cutthroat out there and you have to be a shark if you want to swim. Even as a first time home buyer I can say that Kevin has been on the ball! He is quite hands-off in nature so his automated emails with your tailored listings or the app that rhymes with "Deadfin" will have to catch your eye - but once you have one in your sights, shoot him a text/email/call and he is on it like his life depends on it. Super-relaxed dude with incredible knowledge and a snappy dresser to boot. Don't go with someone right out of school unless you are a softie or a seasoned buyer. We first timers need fellas that are attentive like him. And, though we are a pain in the a$$ because of all of our reservations, Kevin will take care of you. And in the end, its about finding you the right house. Period.

He always puts his clients first, gives honest feedback, fights for his clients in negotiations. He has an eye for detail and is extremely easy to work with. You cannot go wrong having Kevin on your side whether you're selling, buying, or both.

He patiently answered all of my questions, anticipated my needs, was honest about challenges and ready with solutions, and included so many thoughtful touches - appreciation gifts, genuine enthusiasm and care for my family and privacy, help with contractors, and more. He's become a trusted friend, even though we met for the first time at the beginning of this home buying/selling adventure. I'm pleased with my sale and purchase prices and am settling into a home that I'm excited to make new memories in!

Truly, he is the nicest, honest, and helpful people we've ever met. He has helped us purchase two houses and has been invaluable throughout both home purchases, from finding the right house, the buying process, and after the sale. As first time homebuyers in an uncertain market, Kevin made us feel at ease. He is friendly, down-to-earth, and a no-pressure realtor. When we would tour houses, he was very thorough, making sure to check and see if the upgrades we wanted to do would be feasible in every house (which saved us a lot of mental work!). Throughout the transaction, he was hands on and communicative, keeping us up to date. We will definitely use him again if/when the time comes.

He also made constructive suggestions. If he didn't know something, he found out. He was available more than was necessary but that assisted us in getting things done in a timely manner. We would highly recommend him to anyone seeking to buy in the Portland area.

I can't say enough good things about working with Kevin. I moved to Portland last year and it took me eight months of searching before finding the home I'm in now. During that time I must have looked at 50+ houses and put in 5-6 offers and and backed out for various reasons. Through it all, Kevin was the picture of patience. He always remained positive and reassuring as I slowly realized I needed to be looking for a different kind of home. He gave me the space to come to this realization, and also the space to come up with my own judgement first on each house, and only then would share his opinion. He never pushed me to do anything I didn't want to. He's like water; he flows around the client, he's there to do what you need him to. That is how all real estate agents should be, but he really is :) Kevin also just has a good heart. He's non-judgmental, fun to be around, a good listener, and honest. I had a blast looking at houses with him. He was always on my side and always honest – if he felt like a home wasn't good enough for me, he would say so. He really wanted the best for me, and he does for all his clients. He really does care about his clients beyond a financial transaction; he builds long-lasting relationships and friendships with them that endure through the years. He also is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the field of real estate from his two decades-plus experience. He really knows his stuff. He is sharp and shrewd, seeing signs in a bad or good house and neighborhood and street that most people miss, like Sherlock Holmes. He also makes everything easy and seamless – he understands the technical side of things, the contract-signing, etc., backwards and forwards, and makes everything easy. Anyway, long story short, I would totally recommend Kevin to work with – if you've had bad experiences with realtors in the past, give Kevin a chance and he will change your mind about what a realtor can be.
